Student Loan Scheme In Pakistan

Pursuant to the statement made by the Federal Economical Reverend in his 2001-2002-budget language, a STUDENTS LOAN SCHEME (SLS) for Knowledge was released by the Govt of Pakistan together with major professional banking institutions of Pakistan (NBP, HBL, UBL, MCB and ABL). Under the Structure, financing is provided by way of Interest Free Loans to the deserving students who have financial restrictions for seeking their studies in Clinical, Specialized and Professional education within Pakistan.

The Structure is being applied by a powerful panel composed Deputy Governor, State Bank of Pakistan, Presidents of the professional banking institutions and consultant of Secretary of state for Economical, Govt of Pakistan.
